" TARAMOSALATA" - FISHROE SAUCE/DIP
appetizing dip eaton with bread, with all salads and various
boiled vegetables.

Ingredients
1 cup of olive oil
1 finely chopped onion (small)
1/2 cup of taramas ( fishroe)
1 1/2 cup of bread soaked and drained
1/2 cup of lemon juice
1/2 tsb of salt
chopped parsley,picled vegetables and black olives
or green for garnish.
If the " Taramas " is not ready made in the box, put it in luke-warm water,
for about 30 minutes, to get rid of its salt. clean and drain well.
If however it is in the box, crush it together with a few drops of olive oil
until it becomes a paste.
Put the paste in the bowl and mix it with the bread, olive oil and lemon juice,
alternately and a little at a time, beat with fork or a wire whisk or a mixer
until it becomes a thick smooth paste. Garnish with the finely chopped parsley,
the pickled vegetables and the black olives, and serve in small bowls.
